Nowadays, it seems everyone from celebrities to young children is wearing charity symbols - wristbands, ribbons and, in Britain, even red clown's noses.Some say these are a great way to raise awareness and money for good causes, but others think they reduce serious issues, such as cancer, to fashion gimmicks.

I think it’s a way of conscienciating the society. At some time, I have worn a red ribbon with the intention of raising awareness about the cancer.

I think that it's a good idea to aid people who need it. Is more necesary all the help possible and all good causes that the people do for help other persons with problems.

In my opinion, everybody is free to wear what they want.
But I agree that if somebody wears charity symbols means that he or she know what these symbols says and agrees with the meaning them, and then they wear it for the cause that are made these objects.
But it's also true that instead of this, there are people who wear them because they think that they're "cool".
I think that it is more important to try to help people with our things. I mind that if someone in the street needs something for eat, I will give him (or her)some food. Some assosiations collect a few money for them and the rest for their objective since I do not prefer to give money.
Of my point of view, I do not undesrtand why there are people who have a lot of money and other people who have not seen any money yet.
In my opinion when some people try to do any charity symbol for raise awareness and colect money it's a good idea and this aid the poor people. But sometimes, when a lot of people buy this symbol, somme companys make symilar symbols for make money for him and the symbol begins a fashion.I think when a symbol begins a fashion isn't a charity symbol and lost his mind.Buy this symbol it's no use.
I think that now a days it is becoming more of a fashion than a way to raise awareness. The message is important but sometimes the market and society forget what it is realy for and it becomes in a simple fashion. It can also be a good thing, fashion makes a lot of people buy these items but onece the fashion ends it can become in to something not as interesting for the people.

I think that to take symbols as red nouses, etc it isn't a way of removing importance to the serious things like cancer, but it's a way of collecting more money and awarness, overcoat in childs.
I believe that wearing a wristbands, red ribbons or red clown's noses is a very good idea, but only when people know the means of this, because a few years ago, some people was wearing a wristbands not for help people with any disease or rais awarness, people was wearing these because it was a mode.
I think the things like wristbands, red nouses, or caps (there is a charitie which wear a cap for fiht against cancer in childs) there are things to attract the kids in this real social problems. But there are also a way for colect money.
